Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Child Care Centre (GENOME-the IVF Centre)
Horrible. Services. Absolutely non transparent. The only IVF Specialist in Genome, Rohit Gutgutia takes patients for a ride. He is the only specialist with hardly any qualifiaction. No information is shared regarding the process. No documents provided regarding the number of eggs retreived, fertilised, and the progress of the embryos. He does not consult regarding how many embryos to be transfered. He is very inconsistent with the feedback and on progress of the IVF. My wife has 12 eggs retrieved of which 6 fertilized. The Embryos were developing excellently. On the morning of transfer the embryologist said the embryos were excellent and Rohit also said 3 embryos were grade 1, 2 were grade 2 and 1 grade 3. But on the day of transfer he said that he has transfered all 6 (no reasons given nor consent taken) . We wanted 3 transfered and 3 frozen. The IVF failed. On consultation he said the embryos were of poor quality and he had transferred 4 embryos and not 6. He wanted to do the embryo transfer under anesthesia, I don’t know for what reason. He makes batches of patients for transfer on Saturday and Sunday (as he also works at AMRI)there by either delaying or advancing the egg retrieval, which may affect the quality of egg.
